Life
After enrolling in the U of M in the Fall of 1972, I eventually graduated from Northwestern University with an MBA in 1977. I joined a Big 8 Accounting Firm in NYC and was transferred to Fort Wayne IN in 1979, where I met my wife, Cathy, a registered nurse in neonatology intensive care. We married in 1982. lived in Germany for a little over a year, from 1985 to 1986. During that time, we had two sons, John Jr. and Michael, who are now 19 and 17, respectively. I decided to leave the business world and attended law school, something I had wanted to do since I had been an undergraduate student. So, I attended the University of Toledo Law School from 1987 to 1990. We then moved to the Washington D.C. area in 1990, when I accepted a position as a Trial Attorney with the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice, where we have been ever since.
